The hexagonal surface is usually formed by pressing a specially designed patterned stainless steel plate onto phenolic film during the hot pressing process. The result is a strong, wear-resistant, waterproof, and anti-slip panel suitable for demanding environments.

This type of plywood combines high mechanical strength, excellent load-bearing performance, superior surface durability, water and weather resistance and enhanced anti-slip safety performance.

How Hexagonal Anti-Slip Plywood Is Produced

The production of hexagonal anti-slip plywood involves a carefully controlled hot pressing process:

1. High-quality plywood core boards are prepared.

2. Phenolic film (film face paper) is placed on the surface of the plywood.

3. A specially designed hexagonal patterned stainless steel plate is installed inside the hot press.

4. Under high temperature and high pressure, the film is bonded to the plywood surface while the hexagonal texture is embossed.

5. After pressing, the boards are trimmed, cooled, and stacked.
